Surgical Placement for the General Dentist

Dental Implant Placement for the General Dentist-Simplified!!!

“Nothing is more empowering than placing your first implant”

Joseph A. Favia,D.D.S.

The final step in the process of learning implant therapy is to place an implant in a real patient. At that moment, the entire process is complete, confidence grows and proficiency is established. The best possible scenario is  to place that first implant with a seasoned mentor at your elbow. Immediately after the two day “Introduction to Implant Surgery” program, Dr. Favia will offer a limited number of students the opportunity to place an implant in one of his patients. Doctors have the option of providing their own patient at an additional cost. The student will have Dr. Favia’s advice and mentoring during the entire planning and placement process. All expenses, including the implant cost, surgical consumables and chairside assistance are covered in the course fee. Doctors are relieved of the initial bother of details and may focus entirely on the patient and the therapy being learned during their initial surgical experience. Out of state doctors are allowed to place implants in Illinois under one day educational regulations.
